
Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980in the United States of America and is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing in stage productions during her time studying at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut as Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and was in a Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. She later appeared in the action-thriller film Spartan (2004) and was awarded applause for her performance on the drama TV film Gracie's Choice (2004).Her first major role was that of the title character in the teen noir television series Veronica Mars (2004-2007), getting praise from the critics and winning a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance. She reprised the role in the 2014 movie and the reboot in 2019. Bell starred from 2007 to 2008 in the role of Elle Bishop in Heroes, a superhero drama series. Bell played the character's narrator on the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl. The 2021 sequel will feature her reprising this role. Bell was also Showtime comedian House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell played the lead role of Eleanor Shellstrop on the critically popular NBC comedy series The Good Place, receiving an Golden Globe Award nomination for her role. Bell was also the main character on the streaming series The Woman in the house Across the street from the Girl in the Window.
